Quiz - 6.00 p.m. City Giving Day 23 September 2025

It is just three weeks until City Giving Day on 23 September, one of the Lord Mayor’s charity fund raising events.  There are four events – but I think that Farringdon Ward Club may leave the “Tour de City” gym bike challenge to younger groups. That still leaves us with three events – a lunchtime guided tour, a Treasure Hunt at 4.00 p.m., and a Quiz from 6.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m.  Thank you for the expression of interests received so far – I think we have enough interest to raise at least one team in each of the team events.

This email is about the Quiz, which is a team event for teams of up to 6 people.  It runs from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m., at “various venues around the City” – so I will have to confirm the meeting point later when I know it.  Afterwards I suggest we head somewhere for a drink and a bite to eat. 

The cost is £10 per person.  I have set the event up for six people and a waiting list – so we could field a second team if there is sufficient interest.  Members may also bring a guest.
